Someday you take a look at your garden and think to yourself: “it looks boring.” Hey, it happens after some time but you don’t have to be worrying – there is definitely something you can do to provide a little more life to your garden so it doesn’t look “boring.”

Adding some fresh life to your backyard garden is not that difficult. Simply because adding a garden structure is an easy matter nowadays. You’ll be able to undoubtedly buy one either whole or in kit form that you should assemble but let’s talk about that later.

Right this moment you would like to add a garden structure that should add some pizzazz to your backyard garden. It must be something that looks a little bit different in a way that it will surely get noticed. Yet it should be something that’s quite functional too so you can actually make use of it at the same time.

If that’s what you would like consider purchasing a structure that is certain to make heads turn. It’s an exotic structure containing no walls; maybe a floor or none at all; is manufactured out of wood, and contains what’s called thatch roofing.

Thatch what!? I understand the confusion so allow me to explain. Thatch is simply dried vegetation. It’s not something rotting and all that; it’s simply grass or reeds or something similar that have been dried and bundled together to create a roof. Don’t worry it has generations of usage behind it since this was, and perhaps still is, the most widespread roofing material around (well if you lived within the tropics that is).

It may look somewhat dishevelled and shaggy but it is very efficient in shedding water when it rains as well as in keeping you cool when it gets hot. You might not believe this but you can feel up to 10 degrees cooler under this sort of roof simply because it behaves as a natural insulator to keep some of the heat away from you.

If you bring that cooling power with the fact that it has no walls to close the free air flow then you are in for some nice cooling power. This could be a perfect spot for you to grab some nap time during one of those lazy weekend afternoons when you don’t wish to do anything except lay around.

And they are generally quite functional too as you are able to do a lot of things underneath them. After all, you can look at them as a room that’s outside. Because it’s a room you’ll be able to decorate and accessorize it like any room in your home and use it exactly the same way too (just don’t forget that there are no walls to speak of).

If your curiosity is driving you nuts at the moment then I will tell you what this structure is. It’s called Bali huts Perth and they are generally Balinese inspired little grass covered tropical huts that you could put in your garden. Get them already assembled or get a kit and erect them yourself. They will add that pizzazz you’re in search of and you will also love the variety of uses you can get out of them also.

Should you be obtaining a Balinese hut? Perhaps the better question for you is why aren’t you buying a Balinese hut? It’s a fairly easy question and frankly if you think about it you truly have no reason to not get one since there are a lot of reasons why you ought to get one.

If you think about it a Bali huts Perth is one thing that’s both functional and decorative. It can  enable you to do a lot of stuff outside that you wouldn’t have been able to perform otherwise – at least not as comfortably. Besides, when you’re outside in your backyard you’re in contact with the hot sun and to the whims of the weather such as rain. That being the case you are not able to fully utilize and appreciate your backyard.

How is it able to do this? It has a roof. That’s probably not saying much since there are other garden structures out there that have roofs too. However, it’s the only one which has dried vegetation as a roofing material. That’s right, these little huts use dried grass as its roof; referred to as thatch.

It’s a reasonably effective roof at that considering that it can easily shed rain should you experience a downpour. But perhaps its best performance is done when the sun makes it too hot outside. Slip under its cover and you will definitely feel a change in temperature – you are able to feel approximately 10 degrees cooler under there. Thatch has many air pockets that help to soak up some of the heat that passes through, allowing it to be cooler underneath.

If that’s not enough cooling think about the fact that this huts doesn’t have walls and has an elevated deck for a floor. Now you not only have cooling from the top, you also have cooling from the side and from the bottom in the form of the breeze that can flow right through unhindered.

If you believe that’s all there is to it think again. Function wise you can find a lot of use from them also. They are what you may consider as a room in your residence with the difference being that it is a room that is outside instead. Consequently considering that it can be treated as a room it can be used as one and thus it is possible to accessorize and decorate it as one, with the only constraint being that it lacks the walls.

With Bali hut plans you can allow yourself more ways for rest, recreation or entertainment. This is because with it you can do all of these activities underneath the cool protection of these huts. This means that you may enjoy your backyard more and more even if the sun gets too hot or if it rains.
